How to Obtain a Yukon Graduated Driver’s License?
- Submit a Valid Identification card and a valid address proof.
- If your age is less than 18 years of age then submit a parental consent.
- Appear for a Knowledge test and pass the test.
- Take a Vision test and pass it.
- After passing all the tests you will be getting you will get Learner’s License.
- Complete the 50 hours of driving practice.
- After the successful completion of 50 hours of driving practice under the restrictions mentioned in your booklet, you will be promoted to the next stage i.e. Nova stage.
- Pass the road test to get Novice License.
- Practice driving as a Novice license holder for 18 months.
- After the successful completion of Novice period, you will be eligible to get Graduated class 5 driver’s license.
Yukon Graduated Driver Licensing Program:
The government of Yukon introduced this Graduated Licensing Program for the new drivers or beginners. The residents of Yukon Province who intend to apply for the Yukon Driver’s License for the first time they have to apply through Graduated Licensing Program.
Yukon Graduated Licensing Program consists of 3 stages they are:
- Learner License.
- Novice License.
- Full License.
To get the Yukon Full Driver’s License, applicants must complete the 3 stages successfully.
Eligibility Criteria applying for Yukon Graduated Driver Licensing Program:
- Applicant must be a resident of Yukon Province.
- Applicant’s age must be 15 years or above.
- Applicant must submit Parental Consent whose age is under 18 years.
- Applicant must submit a valid ID.
- Applicant must pass sign Test.
- Applicant must pass Knowledge Test.
- Applicant must pass the Vision Test.
