Prince Edward Island Driver’s License Renewal at Access PEI:

  • Select the nearest Access PEI.
  • Visit the selected Access PEI along with your driving license and your renewal notice.
  • You can apply for renewal by using your renewal notice or take a renewal application form from the Access PEI.
  • Fill the application form and pay the prescribed fees.
  • Fees can be paid Credit/Debit card, cash and cheque.
  • After the successful submission of your application, you will get a temporary license which is valid for 30 days; you can use the temporary license till you get the new driver’s license.
  • You will get the new driver’s license within 14 working days after the successful submission of your application form.

How to Renew Prince Edward Island Expired or Cancelled Driver’s License?

PEI Driver’s License once issued is valid for 3 years. It’s the PEI Driver License holder’s responsibility to renew the license before it gets expired. If the license is expired or canceled in such case the holder should visit the nearest Access PEI. If your PEI driver’s license is expired before one year, you can apply for the renewal without taking any tests, but if your license is expired for more than one year and below three years you have to take a vision test, if it is more than 3 years then in such case you have to pass vision, knowledge and road tests.

Prince Edward Island expired driver’s license renewal:

  • Take the Original identification proof documents which show your name, date of birth and your signature.
  • Visit an Access PEI which is located nearby you.
  • Take an application form for renewing your expired driver’s license.
  • Fill the application form; pay the prescribed fees.
  • After the successful submission of your application form, you will get a temporary driver’s license and the original one will be sent to you by post within 14 working days.
