The residents of Newfoundland and Labrador holding NL driving license, who want to change or changed their name must inform the Motor Registration Division within 10 days and they have to apply for the change of name on NL DL by carrying the acceptable documents to their nearest Motor registration office in person.

  • Original Marriage Certificate.
  • Original Birth Certificate.
  • Original Name change Document.

Address Change in NL Driver’s License:

The residents of Newfoundland and Labrador holding NL driving license, who want to change or changed their name must inform the Motor Registration Division within 10 days and they have to apply for the change of name on NL DL by sending the new address details to the mail id: MRDmail@gov.nl.ca  or they can apply online by visiting the official website.

The residents of Newfoundland and Labrador change of address can be notified by sending the mailing address and street address along with their driving license number to the above mentioned mail id.
